App Tour
A walk through the main screens and controls in Patchwork. This mirrors the guided tour built into the app itself — it runs automatically the first time you sign in, and you can replay it anytime from Settings → App → Replay tour.
Prefer to learn by doing? Visit app.patchwork.work and the tour will start automatically on your first visit.
Getting Around
The four tabs
Patchwork has four main areas, reachable from the sidebar (or the bottom bar on mobile): Members, Fronting, Friends, and Settings.
Members
Member list tools
The icons at the top of the Members screen let you search members, switch to category view, show or hide hidden members, and add someone new — all in one place.
Add a member
Tap + Add member to create a new system member. Their profile holds their name, pronouns, colour, categories, and notification settings.
Fronting
Start a front
Pick a member from the dropdown and tap Add to mark them as fronting. More than one person can front at the same time.
List or timeline
Use the two icons in the top bar to switch between a simple history list and a visual timeline of who has been fronting and when.
Friends
Add a friend
Friends can see who's fronting in your system, based on the notification settings you choose per-member. Add someone by their system name in the Add friend box.
Settings
Make it yours
Pick a theme, change text size, and adjust colours under Appearance. Changes save automatically as you go.

Scroll down to the App section and tap Replay tour anytime to see the in-app guided walkthrough again.
